BackgroundThe Intranet – the in-house platform for sharing information – daily supports thousands of employees at work and has become indispensable in today’s working world. In this context guaranteeing the quality of the Intranet is more and more an issue. The developmental teams would like regular “check-ups”: How good is our Intranet according to its users? One possible approach would be to acquire user satisfaction meaning the satisfaction of those people for whom the system was designed to support their work.
The project “Intranet Satisfaction Questionnaire” (abbr.: ISQ) pursues the goal of developing a scientifically well-founded and validated measuring instrument in the form of an online-questionnaire in order to be able to systematically acquire user satisfaction on the Intranet in the future. To date the ISQ was translated into 10 languages and is provided to the companies free of charge. The only terms of usage are that the data collected with the questionnaire are available to the scientific research group so that the instrument can further be developed and validated. The “Intranet Satisfaction Questionnaire” was developed in 2005/2006 at the Institute for Psychology at the University of Basel. Do you have any questions regarding the ISQ? Then please contact us. back ©2006 Faculty of Psychology, University of Basel |
